Lee Yo Won Confirmed To Star In New Film For First Time In 7 Years
Lee Yo Won is returning to the big screen for the first time in seven years!
On March 21, Lee Yo Won’s agency Management KOO announced, “Lee Yo Won will star in the film ‘Beast’ (literal title).”
“Beast” depicts the story that occurs to Mi Ae as she reunites with her biological younger sister Mi Ok, who has been released from prison.
Lee Yo Won will play the role of Mi Ae, a former Miss Korea (beauty pageant winner) who is now a famous actress. After Mi Ae’s biological parents died when she was young, she was adopted by her adoptive parents and is preparing to marry a third-generation chaebol.
Having debuted through the film “The Scent of a Man” in 1998, Lee Yo Won starred in various projects including the dramas “Queen Seondeok of Silla” and “Ms. Temper & Nam Jung Gi” as well as the films “Fists of Legend” and “My Little Brother.”
