Byeon Woo Seok And Kim Hye Yoon Share A Meaningful Encounter In "Lovely Runner"

tvN’s “Lovely Runner” has unveiled more stills ahead of the premiere!

Based on a popular web novel and penned by “True Beauty” writer Lee Si Eun, “Lovely Runner” is a new time-slip romance drama that asks the question: “What would you do if you had the opportunity to save your ultimate bias?” Kim Hye Yoon stars as Im Sol, a passionate fan devastated by the death of her favorite star Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok), who goes back in time to save him.

Ahead of the premiere, “Lovely Runner” unveiled new stills featuring the encounter between Im Sol and her favorite artist Ryu Sun Jae on December 31, 2022. After finishing his concert, Ryu Sun Jae runs into his fan Im Sol who is getting wet from the falling snow on Hangang Bridge. Im Sol is flustered due to her broken wheelchair and seeing her bias up close. Frozen in surprise, Im Sol wonders if she is dreaming as Ryu Sun Jae approaches her, and Ryu Sun Jae creates a heart-fluttering scene as he shields Im Sol with his umbrella. However, Ryu Sun Jae’s sad smile raises viewers’ curiosity about his story.

Regarding this scene, Byeon Woo Seok previously shared, “The scene from episode 1 in which Sun Jae meets Sol and shields her with an umbrella from the snow was memorable. The relationship between the two begins then, and in the narrative that unfolds going forward, the link to the umbrella and bridge will come up, so please don’t miss out.”

“Lovely Runner” will premiere on April 8 at 8:50 p.m. KST and be available on Viki!
