Jeon Mi Do Is A Reporter Who Cannot Stand Injustice In Upcoming Drama "Connection"
SBS’s upcoming drama “Connection” has released stills of Jeon Mi Do!
“Connection” is a new crime thriller starring Ji Sung as Jang Jae Kyung, a well-respected detective who is the ace of the narcotics unit. The drama is a collaboration between director Lee Tae Gon and writer Lee Hyun, who previously worked together for JTBC’s “Diary of a Prosecutor.”
Jeon Mi Do will play Oh Yoon Jin, an opinionated and outspoken reporter in the social affairs department of Anhyun Economic Daily. She is someone who cannot stand injustice, regardless of the person’s rank, and has come to realize that money is the greatest thing in life.
The first of the newly released stills depicts reporter Oh Yoon Jin looking angry after someone bumps into her, causing her phone to fall on the ground. In another photo, she is captured with a shocked expression on her face, and in yet another, she is seen talking to someone on the phone with a serious expression.
On why she chose to star in “Connection,” Jeon Mi Do revealed, “I found it interesting to see the journey of two protagonists who are not perfect digging into a case.”
Describing her character Oh Yoon Jin, Jeon Mi Do shared, “She is a character who is more realistic than anyone, and she honestly expresses her desires.” She added, “Please watch the drama to see why Oh Yoon Jin is the way she is and how she changes.”
The production team of “Connection” commented, “Jeon Mi Do has the amazing ability to instantly make a character her own,” adding, “Please look forward to Jeon Mi Do’s passionate performance in ‘Connection.’”
“Connection” will premiere on May 24 at 10 p.m. KST.
