Based on a popular web novel, “Nothing Uncovered” is a romance thriller drama about investigative reporter Seo Jung Won (Kim Ha Neul) and ace detective Kim Tae Heon (Yeon Woo Jin), who team up to solve a series of murders—and who happen to be ex-lovers. Jang Seung Jo plays Seo Jung Won’s husband Seol Woo Jae, a novelist and chaebol heir.
Previous episodes of “Nothing Uncovered” provided viewers with thrilling satisfaction as Seo Jung Won tried to relentlessly uncover the truth about her father’s death and reclaim her own life. Not only that, the romance involving Kim Tae Heon, who is solely focused on Jung Won, and Seol Woo Jae, who hides all his misdeeds for his love for Jung Won, has intensified the drama’s story to its peak.
Below are three questions left to be answered in the final episodes of “Nothing Uncovered.”
Spoilers
Will Seo Jung Won be able to turn her life around?
Jung Won sees the video left by Yoo Yoon Young (Han Chae Ah) and realizes that the person who killed her father and Eun Sae (Han Ji Eun) is the same person. Before the shock even subsides, Lee Ba Reun (Seo Bum June) dies, leaving Jung Won shattered once again. Regardless, as she continues her investigation through Ba Reun’s belongings, she suspects that the person who murdered him might be the same person who murdered her father, and that lurking behind all this is Mujin Group and Mo Hyung Taek (Yoon Je Moon). To uncover the truth, Jung Won moves into Seo Pan Ho’s (Jung Woong In’s) house and begins to delve into her father’s past.
Will Kim Tae Heon be able to reveal the truth?
Tae Heon realizes that Gong Joon Ho (Jung Ho Bin) is the culprit of the murders upon seeing the same whirlwind-patterned knife in the video shown by Jung Won and confronts Joon Ho to turn himself in. Having no willingness to do so, Joon Ho stabs Tae Heon in the abdomen with the same knife, leaving Tae Heon in a life-threatening situation. Attention is drawn on whether Tae Heon can find decisive evidence to uncover all of Joon Ho’s murders.
What decision will Seol Woo Jae make?
Upon learning about Jung Won’s pregnancy, Woo Jae decides to conceal his wrongdoings even more firmly. However, he discovers that the murder of Jung Won’s father was ordered by Pan Ho, leaving Woo Jae in a state of shock, guilt, and eventually, self-loathing. Woo Jae confronts Pan Ho, who insists that everything was done for Woo Jae’s sake. Whether he will choose to turn a blind eye or confess will be revealed in the final episodes.
Not only will the truth behind the murder case be revealed in the final episodes, but the production team promised a shocking twist to the fate of the three characters, keeping the viewers intrigued until the very end!
