Candy Shop's Yuina To Temporarily Halt Activities + Brave Entertainment To Recruit New Member

Just over a month after the debut of Brave Entertainment’s new girl group Candy Shop, member Yuina will be going on a temporary hiatus.

On May 9, Brave Entertainment announced that Yuina had temporarily halted all activities due to health reasons. The agency also revealed that they would be recruiting a new member so that Candy Shop could continue their activities as a four-member group.

The company’s full statement is as follows:

Hello, this is Brave Entertainment.

We sincerely apologize for having to suddenly convey unexpected news to the fans who support our artist Candy Shop.

Due to health reasons, Candy Shop member Yuina has temporarily halted her activities with Candy Shop.
After in-depth discussions with Yuina regarding this matter and much deep thought, we decided to respect our artist’s opinion and have her temporarily halt activities.

Therefore, Yuina will not be participating in future scheduled activities, and we plan to recruit a new member of Candy Shop and have them continue their activities as a four-member group.

We promise to give our full support and utmost effort so that Candy Shop can continue to show good performances in the future as well. We ask that you continue to give Candy Shop your unchanging love and support.
