Lee Sun Bin And Kang Tae Oh Confirmed For New Rom-Com Drama

Lee Sun Bin and Kang Tae Oh will be starring in the new drama “Potato Research Institute” (literal title)!

On May 14, tvN announced that Lee Sun Bin and Kang Tae Oh are confirmed to star in the upcoming drama “Potato Research Institute.”

“Potato Research Institute” is a new romantic comedy drama set against the backdrop of a rural potato research institute.

Lee Sun Bin will take on the role of Kim Mi Kyung, a researcher who is crazy about potatoes. Kim Mi Kyung has an easygoing personality with 12 years of work experience. She has been living a simple and peaceful life in a rural area until So Baek Ho appears in the area and stirs her life up.

Kang Tae Oh will play the role of So Baek Ho, who is charming but a merciless capitalist when it comes to making profits. One day, So Baek Ho appears at the potato research institute located in a mountain valley and starts bickering with the institute’s assistant manager Kim Mi Kyung.

Lee Sun Bin remarked, “I am so happy and delighted to work with a tvN drama for the first time in a while. I feel excited to show a new side of me to viewers.”

Kang Tae Oh shared, “I am little nervous as this is my first project after I was discharged from the military, but I am more excited about being able to greet viewers again with a great project. I will work hard on filming with joy as much as viewers have waited, so please show lots of interest and anticipation for ‘Potato Research Institute.’”
