Oh Jung Se Joins Jun Ji Hyun And Kang Dong Won In New Drama By "Little Women" Creators
Oh Jung Se is joining Jun Ji Hyun and Kang Dong Won in the upcoming drama “Polaris” (literal title)!
On May 23, it was reported that Oh Jung Se had been cast in “Polaris” and is currently filming.
In response to the report, the drama’s production company IMAGINUS confirmed, “It’s true that Oh Jung Se is starring in ‘Polaris.’ Filming is currently underway.”
“Polaris” is a new spy romance drama about spies who have lost their identities and embark on a journey to rediscover themselves. The drama is created by screenwriter Jung Seo Kyung and director Kim Hee Won, who previously worked together on “Little Women.” Jung Seo Kyung has also worked on hits including “The Handmaiden,” “Mother,” and “Decision to Leave,” while Kim Hee Won has led productions such as “The Crowned Clown,” “Crash Landing on You,” “Vincenzo,” and more.
The drama has garnered significant attention for featuring acclaimed actors Jun Ji Hyun and Kang Dong Won. “Polaris” signifies Kang Dong Won’s fourth drama ever and his first in nearly 20 years since “Magic” in 2004. It also marks Jun Ji Hyun’s return to dramas after three years since “Jirisan,” where she starred alongside Oh Jung Se.
