Oh Yeon Seo Hides Her True Identity Behind Glamorous Looks In 'The Player 2: Master Of Swindlers'

tvN’s upcoming heist drama “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers” has released new stills!

The highly-anticipated sequel to OCN’s hit 2018 series “The Player,” “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers” is a heist drama about a squad of talented swindlers who target the wealthy and corrupt by stealing dirty money that has been obtained through illegal means.

Oh Yeon Seo will take on the role of Jung Soo Min, a mysterious enabler and observer who leads Kang Ha Ri back into the game. As the one who gathers the swindlers for a grand scheme, she is a strategist full of leadership and charisma. While her intentions in approaching the swindlers and her true identity remain unknown, she possesses extraordinary abilities with a quick wit on par with the genius con artist Kang Ha Ri (Song Seung Heon), piquing viewers’ curiosity. Oh Yeon Seo’s charismatic performance, which is markedly different from her previous roles, is highly anticipated.

Oh Yeon Seo expressed excitement to be part of Season 2 and revealed her reason for choosing the role, saying, “I was impressed by the unique characters, each brimming with charm, and the script that constantly delivers twists and turns in every episode.”

Furthermore, she added, “Jung Soo Min is a character that stimulates curiosity, making people wonder, ‘What kind of person is she?’ While reading the initial parts of the script, I often thought about what experiences Soo Min had in the past and what choices she would make in the future.”

Additionally, Oh Yeon Seo expressed special affection for the actors that she worked with in this drama. She fondly described Song Seung Heon as a “cool oppa” who frequently buys them meals, treats them to delicious food, and leads their gatherings. She added, “I think he played a crucial role in strengthening our teamwork.” Consequently, she described Lee Si Eon as a “walking encyclopedia because he knows so much, and he is always kind enough to answer any questions we have.” When describing Tae Wok Suk, she remarked laughing, “I initially thought he was older than me, but it turns out that he is younger. He is very cute and full of charm.” Lastly, she referred to Jang Gyuri, the youngest of them, as a person full of energy like a vitamin.
