
Seo Kang Jun Confirmed To Star In New Comedy Action Drama Reportedly Starring Jin Ki Joo And Kim Min Ju
Seo Kang Jun will return to the small screen with a new comedy action drama!
On June 10, MBC’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Undercover High School” (working title) confirmed that Seo Kang Jun will star in the drama.
“Undercover High School” is a comedy action drama about a man who goes undercover as a high school student while hiding his identity as an agent of the National Intelligence Service (NIS). As he navigates school life, he builds solidarity and bonds with his classmates. The drama is penned by Im Young Bin of “Bad Prosecutor” and marks Seo Kang Jun’s first return project after being discharged from the military in May of last year.
Seo Kang Jun takes on the role of Jeong Hae Seong, an ace field agent of NIS who gets demoted after causing a major issue during an operation. In a new operation, Jeong Hae Seong disguises himself as a high school student to infiltrate a high school that has relation to Emperor Gojong’s gold bullion, and there, he ends up enjoying a high school life like no other.
Jin Ki Joo and Kim Min Ju are reportedly in talks to star in the drama. “Undercover High School” is scheduled to air on MBC as a Friday-Saturday drama in 2025.
