Impersonator Of N.Flying’s Kim Jae Hyun Arrested + FNC Gives Brief Update
The man who impersonated N.Flying member Kim Jae Hyun has been arrested.
On June 13, N.Flying’s agency FNC Entertainment shared, “[Kim Jae Hyun’s] impersonator was recently arrested by the police, and Kim Jae Hyun was also interviewed as a witness in relation to this incident.”
According to the reports, the person who impersonated Kim Jae Hyun was caught by the police following a report from a victim. The offender was forwarded to the prosecution for fraud and theft and was recently arrested. During the investigation, multiple victims were identified and there was financial damage.
Earlier in February, FNC Entertainment released an announcement on N.Flying’s official fan cafe, stating, “Cases of impersonating Kim Jae Hyun are continuously occurring. We were informed through reports from fans that there are people damaging Kim Jae Hyun’s reputation by approaching the opposite sex or engaging in promiscuous behavior while pretending to be Kim Jae Hyun. Please be careful in order to avoid any unexpected harm.”
Kim Jae Hyun has been serving in the military as a public service worker since May of last year.
