RIIZE Nearly Quadruples 1st-Day Sales Record + Tops iTunes Charts Around The World With "RIIZING"
RIIZE is soaring to new heights with their new comeback!
On June 17 at 6 p.m. KST, RIIZE made their highly-anticipated return with their first-ever mini album “RIIZING” and its catchy new title track “Boom Boom Bass.”
According to Hanteo Chart, “RIIZING” sold an impressive total of 661,722 copies on its first day of sales alone—nearly quadrupling RIIZE’s previous first-day sales record of 178,265 set by their debut single album “Get A Guitar.”
Meanwhile, “Boom Boom Bass” got off to a strong start on the Korean music charts, where it reached No. 1 on Vibe’s Rapid Rising chart, No. 3 on Bugs’ realtime chart, No. 4 on Melon’s Hot 100 (for songs released within the last 30 days), and No. 16 on Melon’s Top 100.
Additionally, by the following morning (June 18 KST), “RIIZING” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least nine different regions across the globe, including Brazil, Japan, Finland, Indonesia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
“RIIZING” also reached No. 1 on Line Music’s realtime album chart and AWA’s realtime rising chart in Japan, as well as Hanteo Chart’s and Kyobo Book Centre’s daily album charts in Korea.
