Red Velvet Tops iTunes Charts All Over The World, Including U.K. And U.S., With "Cosmic"
Red Velvet is soaring to new heights with their latest comeback!
On the evening of June 24 KST, Red Velvet made their long-awaited return with their new mini album “Cosmic” and its title track of the same name.
Immediately upon its release, the mini album shot to the top of iTunes charts in numerous countries all over the world: by June 25 KST, “Cosmic” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 41 different regions.
“Cosmic” reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in the United Kingdom—where it became Red Velvet’s first album ever to top the chart—as well as the United States, Canada, Sweden, Poland, Australia, Denmark, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Macau, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Brazil, Guatemala, Chile, Finland, Ireland, Paraguay, Romania, Turkey, Colombia, India, Peru, Brunei, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Portugal, South Africa, Bolivia, and Jordan.
“Cosmic” also topped AWA’s realtime rising chart in Japan, along with several different music charts in China: in addition to topping Tencent Music’s K-Pop Chart, which combines data from five different streaming platforms, “Cosmic” also hit No. 1 on QQ Music’s and KuGou Music’s digital album sales charts.
