TWICE's Nayeon Becomes 1st K-Pop Female Soloist To Spend Multiple Weeks On Billboard 200 With 2 Different Albums
TWICE’s Nayeon continues to make Billboard 200 history with her first-ever solo comeback!
Last week, Nayeon became the first female K-pop soloist ever to chart more than one entry on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart—as well as the first to score two top 10 albums—when her new mini album “NA” debuted at No. 7, matching Nayeon’s own record for the highest-ranking album by a female K-pop soloist on the Billboard 200.
On July 2, Billboard revealed that “NA” was now spending its second consecutive week on the Billboard 200 at No. 101.
With this achievement, Nayeon has become the first female K-pop soloist in Billboard 200 history to spend multiple weeks on the chart with more than one album.
Outside of the Billboard 200, “NA” also continued to rank high on several other Billboard charts in its second week. After debuting at No. 1 on all three charts last week, the mini album came in at No. 2 on the World Albums chart, No. 8 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, and No. 9 on the Top Album Sales chart.
Meanwhile, Nayeon’s new title track “ABCD” stayed strong at No. 8 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, No. 55 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, and No. 107 on the Global 200 this week.
Finally, Nayeon remained on Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 44, marking her seventh non-consecutive week on the chart as a soloist.
Congratulations to Nayeon on her new Billboard 200 record!
