According to reports, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, stars of the upcoming movie “Deadpool & Wolverine,” arrived in Korea on July 3 for their film promotions and met up with Stray Kids’ Bang Chan and Felix on July 4 after the “Deadpool & Wolverine” press conference in Seoul, where Ryan Reynolds expressed his affection for K-pop, stating, “I love BLACKPINK and Stray Kids.”
While Bang Chan previously met Ryan Reynolds via video call during an interview for Ryan Reynolds’s movie “Free Guy” in 2021, this was their first in-person meeting.
Their interaction first began when Stray Kids performed with a “Deadpool” concept on Mnet’s reality show “Kingdom: Legendary War,” which caught Reynolds’ attention. Following this, he autographed a bottle of gin for Bang Chan, mentioned that he had become a new fan of Stray Kids, and even congratulated Bang Chan on his birthday via social media.
