ASH ISLAND and CHANMINA are starting a family together!

On July 7, the two singers surprised their fans by announcing that they had recently gotten married and were expecting their first child.

In addition to sharing several couple photos on Instagram, CHANMINA posted the following message in English:

I’m thrilled to announce that I got married with ASH ISLAND.
He’s love of my life [sic], my best friend, irreplaceable to me, and I’m happier than ever to start a new chapter with him.

Also, we’re expecting a baby coming into the world, which makes us so blessed and overwhelmed. We’re excited to build a family together, and it’d be very appreciated that if you could keep supporting us [sic].
I’m going to be a cool mom and be more powerful.

(Regarding my shows and festival appearances from now on, there won’t be any schedule changes with support from various people, so please don’t worry.)

Meanwhile, ASH ISLAND shared the following statement in English:

[CHANMINA] and I have made a promise to spend the rest of our lives together. I am deeply grateful for her presence; she is my pillar of strength in every way.

In even happier news, a new life has joined us! My heart is overflowing with joy. I feel incredibly fortunate to share this happiness with all of you. I aim to reflect the love I have been given, and continue to receive from all of you, by sharing it with many more people in the future.

I also want to announce that my exclusive contract with Ambition Musik, a company that has been like family to me for so long, has come to an end. Ambition Musik has provided me with numerous opportunities and unwavering support, for which I will always be grateful. Moving forward as an artist, I will strive to give my very best.
