Jung Jinyoung Confirmed To Join Jung Ji So And Kim Hae Sook In Drama Adaptation Of "Miss Granny"
Jung Jinyoung will transform into a star producer in the drama adaptation of “Miss Granny“!
On July 9, the production team of “Miss Granny” announced that Jung Jinyoung, who starred in the original film as young rocker Ban Ji Ha, will star in the drama adaption as Han Joon Hyuk, also known as Daniel Han. Daniel Han is a former leader of a popular group who is now a star producer in the entertainment industry. His successful life gets completely shaken when Oh Doo Ri (Jung Ji So), who has a big secret, appears.
“Miss Granny,” which has spawned multiple remakes in other countries, tells the story of a 74-year-old woman who suddenly finds herself back in her 20-year-old body after having her photo taken at a mysterious studio.
Previously, Jung Ji So was confirmed to play the female lead Oh Doo Ri, while Kim Hae Sook was confirmed to play the role of Oh Mal Soon, a tough-minded but impossible-to-hate grandmother who strives to debut as an idol in order to achieve her unfulfilled dream of becoming a singer. In the original film, Jung Ji So’s and Kim Hae Sook’s roles were played by Shim Eun Kyung and Na Moon Hee, respectively.
