Circle Chart Reveals Midyear Album And Digital Charts For 1st Half Of 2024

Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has published its midyear charts for the first half of 2024!

As the midyear chart results are based on accumulated weekly data since the beginning of January 2024, albums and songs released earlier in the year have more weekly points included in their scores.

Album Chart

SEVENTEEN topped the midyear physical album chart with their best-of album “17 IS RIGHT HERE,” which has sold over 3 million copies since its release in April.

NCT DREAM’s “DREAM( )SCAPE” came in at No. 2, TXT’s “minisode 3: TOMORROW” at No. 3, IVE’s “IVE SWITCH” at No. 4, ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.1” at No. 5, TWICE’s “With YOU-th” at No. 6, aespa’s “Armageddon” at No. 7, (G)I-DLE’s “2” at No. 8, LE SSERAFIM’s “EASY” at No. 9, and RIIZE’s “RIIZING” at No. 10.

Digital Chart

TWS topped the midyear digital chart with their hit debut track “plot twist.” All of the top three songs on the 2024 midyear chart were January releases: IU’s hit single “Love wins all” took No. 2, with (G)I-DLE’s viral B-side “Fate” at No. 3.

BIBI’s “Bam Yang Gang” ranked No. 4, followed by Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon’s “To. X” at No. 5, Lim Jae Hyun’s “Rhapsody of Sadness” at No. 6, ILLIT’s “Magnetic” at No. 7, LE SSERAFIM’s “Perfect Night” at No. 8, and Lee Mujin’s “Episode” at No. 9.

Finally, DAY6’s beloved 2019 hit “Time of Our Life” rounded out the top 10 for the first half of the year.
