"Family By Choice" Concludes Filming + Shares Broadcast Plans
The upcoming JTBC drama “Family by Choice” has concluded filming and shared its broadcast plans!
“Family by Choice” is a drama about Kim San Ha (Hwang In Youp), Yoon Ju Won (Jung Chaeyeon), and Kang Hae Jun (Bae Hyeon Seong) who are not related by blood but grew up together like siblings. After spending their entire childhood together, they are separated for 10 years only to be reunited again.
Choi Won Young will play Yoon Ju Won’s father Yoon Jeong Jae, while Choi Moo Sung will play Kim San Ha’s father Kim Dae Uk. These two characters, who raise their children together, will demonstrate perfect harmony, reminiscent of a couple married for 10 years.
The synergy between young actors with fresh energy and seasoned veterans is expected to shine. The released photos reveal harmonious moments shared by three vibrant young people and their two fathers. Although this is an unconventional family, it will be interesting to see what kind of story they create as they care for each other as much as their biological families.
The production team, which finished filming and began post-production on July 14, shared their thoughts: “We are very fortunate to have completed the journey safely and are deeply grateful to all the actors and staff who worked hard day and night.”
They continued, stating, “From the moment unrelated individuals came together under one roof until they matured and reunited, a family-like bond formed. We will meticulously complete the final stages of production to ensure the warmth and excitement from set are conveyed effectively to viewers. We’re excited to share it with the audience.”
