On July 16, Sungmin and Kim Sa Eun took to their Instagram accounts respectively to share the happy news that they are expecting their first child.

Hello. This is Sungmin.

I’m writing this carefully to deliver news to my fans first.

A precious baby has come to me. I’m becoming a father after 10 years of marriage.

As much as the baby came to us after much difficulty, we will take responsibility and raise it with love and care.

I worried a lot about when and how to share this news. Although I am nervous, I would appreciate it if you would look upon us with warmth.

Now that I have someone to take responsibility for, everything in the world feels more precious than before.

To everyone who always supports me with love and attention, I would like to say thank you once again.

I will become a singer who repays [the love] with great music that gives happiness.
