THE BOYZ's Sunwoo And Jung Da Bin To Mesmerize With Movie Reinterpretations In "MY ARTi FILM"
THE BOYZ’s Sunwoo and actress Jung Da Bin have joined forces for a new performance-based variety show!
Only July 16, the production team of Mnet’s new entertainment program “MY ARTi FILM” unveiled heart-fluttering posters and announced, “THE BOYZ’s Sunwoo will star in the first episode alongside actress Jung Da Bin.”
“MY ARTi FILM” is Mnet’s innovative cinematic performance series where different K-pop artists challenge themselves with acting in various genres such as romance, comedy, and thriller. Each episode features dance performances that reinterpret famous movie scenes, blending K-pop style with cinematic flair.
Sunwoo portrays a spirited college student aiming to capture hearts with his straightforward pursuit of a crush. Jung Da Bin joins as his counterpart, enhancing the drama’s authenticity.
The posters capture their compelling chemistry, underscored by the title “Noona Is So Pretty” (literal translation), hinting at a captivating romance between an older woman and a younger man. Scenes of them together under a streetlight, evading raindrops, evoke cinematic nostalgia akin to the movies “The Classic” and “La La Land.”
The production team commented, “We believed Sunwoo’s youthful vigor would perfectly suit this campus romance,” adding, “Viewers can anticipate the dynamic chemistry between Sunwoo and Jung Da Bin, both born in 2000.”
“MY ARTi FILM” airs on July 30 at 9 p.m. KST via Mnet and the Mnet K-Pop YouTube channel.
