Nam Yoon Su Donates Kidney To Father + To Return To Acting After Successful Surgery And Recovery
Nam Yoon Su has donated a kidney to his father.
On July 16, SPOTV News reported that Nam Yoon Su underwent kidney transplant surgery for his father on June 19. According to the report, Nam Yoon Su had halted all his activities since the beginning of the year to dedicate himself to preparing for the surgery.
On the same day, Nam Yoon Su’s agency Agency Garten confirmed, “Nam Yoon Su donated a kidney to his father on June 19. Both Nam Yoon Su and his father have now recovered and been discharged from the hospital.”
The agency added that Nam Yoon Su chose to donate his kidney voluntarily and took a hiatus from his career to focus on the surgery and his father’s recovery. Now that he has recovered, he plans to return to acting soon with upcoming projects.
Nam Yoon Su is set to star in the drama “Love in the Big City” (working title), which is set to premiere in the latter half of this year.
