Jo Jin Woong, Kim Moo Yeol, Lee Kwang Soo, And More Are Entangled With Criminal Yoo Jae Myung In 'No Way Out : The Roulette'

Upcoming mystery thriller drama “No Way Out : The Roulette” has shared character posters of its stars!

“No Way Out : The Roulette” depicts the fierce battle among individuals trapped in a high-stakes game with no way out. The series kicks off when a nationwide bounty of 20 billion won (approximately $14.5 million) is placed on the head of the notorious criminal Kim Gook Ho (Yoo Jae Myung), who is about to be released from prison.

The newly released character posters capture the eight distinctive main characters of the drama. The blood-red “NO WAY OUT” spelled out behind the characters emphasizes the vicious intensity of the battles they will face.

The first character poster depicts Baek Joong Sik (Jo Jin Woong), a detective who is ironically tasked with protecting Kim Gook Ho, an ex-convict who has become a nationwide target after his 13-year imprisonment. The poster highlights Baek Joong Sik’s agony as a police officer caught in the dilemma of having to protect a heinous criminal, with the caption reading, “You want me to protect this bastard?”

In the next poster, notorious criminal Kim Gook Ho is captured with a vicious facial expression. The caption “I heard they put a 20 billion won bounty on my head?” hints at his role as the core figure of the plot and the ticking time bomb who brings all the other characters together to become entangled with one another.

Another poster depicts Kim Gook Ho’s lawyer Lee Sang Bong (Kim Moo Yeol), who is driven by ambition and a strong desire for success. The caption, “Guaranteed top-quality legal services at the lowest price,” suggests that he is a character who is willing to defend even the most heinous criminals for the sake of his goal.

The next poster captures Ahn Myung Ja (Yum Jung Ah), the mayor of Hosang City, who is facing a political crisis. Her piercing gaze and the caption, “That bastard might become my savior,” hint at her hypocritical attempt to manipulate public opinion using Kim Gook Ho.

In the next poster, the words “I’ve been living in hell all this time” perfectly reflect the dark side of Kim Gook Ho’s son Seo Dong Ha (Sung Yoo Bin), who has lived under the heavy burden of his father’s notorious reputation.

Mr. Smile (Greg Han), who has come to Korea to kill Kim Gook Ho under someone’s orders, raises curiosity about whether he will succeed in his mission with the caption “I handle the job perfectly once the payment is made.”

The next poster introduces Yoon Chang Jae (Lee Kwang Soo), a butcher with bloodshot eyes who is eager to claim the financial reward.

The final character poster features Sung Joon Woo (Kim Sung Cheol), a young pastor of a large church who is trusted by many believers for his positive influence. The caption, “There are so many things in this world faith alone can’t accomplish,” raises questions about whether his offer of salvation will extend to even the unrepentant heinous criminal.

“No Way Out: The Roulette” is set to premiere on July 31, with two episodes to be released every Wednesday.
