Choi Woo Shik Talks About His Love For Food Trucks, Must-Have Travel Item, Gratitude For His Acting Career, And More

In an interview that followed the photo shoot, he shared his insights on various topics.

When asked about his experience with food trucks on set, Choi Woo Shik answered, “I love food trucks. I somehow feel excited to see what menus they have each day.” Regarding the most popular options, he added, “Donkatsu and spaghetti. What’s interesting is they always come together as a set. When they serve those menus, everyone—whether they are prickly, quiet, or shy—lets their guard down and helps themselves to five or six pieces of Donkatsu.”

Given that his photo shoot features suitcases, the interviewer asked about his must-have item for traveling. The actor said, “I bring my speaker no matter what. I enjoy listening to music with friends or during solo trips. The same song you listen to every day sounds different in a foreign city. I think that [fresh perspective] is important.”

Regarding the question of going back in time, he reflected on his past journey as an actor. He remarked, “Well, I think luck and timing have a huge impact on success. In that regard, I feel incredibly lucky. Not to mention all the people I’ve met through my projects, I’ve sustained myself through acting until now even though I started without any experience. Even if I could travel back in time and fulfill a dream I missed, it would probably bring new worries that keep me up at night.”
