BTS's Jimin Tops Oricon Daily Album Chart + Enters Spotify Global Top 50 At No. 3 With "MUSE" And "Who"
BTS’s Jimin is making a splash on the international music charts with his new album!
On July 21, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that Jimin’s second solo album “MUSE” had debuted at No. 1 on Oricon’s daily album chart after selling 83,579 copies in Japan on the first day of its release.
Jimin’s new title track “Who” also debuted at No. 2 on Oricon’s daily digital singles chart, while three of his B-sides made the top 10: “Be Mine” entered the chart at No. 7, “Slow Dance” (featuring Sofia Carson) at No. 8, and “Rebirth (Intro)” at No. 9.
Meanwhile, “Who” made an impressive debut at No. 3 on Spotify’s daily Global Top Songs chart after racking up a staggering 7,901,507 filtered streams on its first day. Jimin’s pre-release track “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” (featuring Loco) also made the chart at No. 17, while “Closer Than This” debuted at No. 39.
Additionally, “”Who” debuted at No. 1 on Spotify daily Top Songs charts in seven different regions including South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. The song also reached the top 10 in 17 different regions including Morocco (where it debuted at No. 2), Singapore (No. 3), and more.
