SBS wrapped up the first half of 2024 with a festive summer celebration!
On July 21, the first-ever SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer was held at the INSPIRE Arena in Seoul. While SBS Gayo Daejeon has always been held at the end of the year, SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer is a new midyear special that kicks off the second half of the year with special performances by a star-studded lineup of artists.
The 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer was hosted by NCT’s Doyoung, IVE’s An Yu Jin, and TXT’s Yeonjun, all of whom are former “Inkigayo” MCs. An Yu Jin and Yeonjun also previously hosted the 2023 SBS Gayo Daejeon together at the end of last year.
The artists who performed at this year’s summer special included (G)I-DLE, CRAVITY, ENHYPEN, ILLIT, IVE, JANNABI, KISS OF LIFE, LE SSERAFIM, Lee Young Ji, NCT 127, NCT WISH, NewJeans, NMIXX, ONF, STAYC, Stray Kids, TXT, WOOAH, xikers, and ZEROBASEONE.
