Go Hyun Jung And Jang Dong Yoon Confirmed For Korean Adaptation Of French Thriller "La Mante"
Go Hyun Jung and Jang Dong Yoon have been confirmed to star in the Korean adaptation of “La Mante”!
On July 23, SBS’s upcoming drama “La Mante” (working title) revealed that Go Hyun Jung and Jang Dong Yoon will take on the lead roles in the series.
Based on the French thriller series of the same name, “La Mante” tells the story of a woman who has been imprisoned as a serial killer for a long time. As a series of murders that mirror her distinctive style unfolds, she is approached by the police to assist in solving the cases.
Go Hyun Jung will star as Jung Yi Shin, a serial killer nicknamed Mantis who brutally murdered five men 20 years ago, while Jang Dong Yoon will play Jung Yi Shin’s son Cha Soo Yeol, a police officer who is all in for solving the Mantis copycat murder case. The collaborative investigation between a serial killer mother and a police officer son amps up viewers’ anticipation for the drama.
