“Dare to Love Me” star Kim Myung Soo has joined global OTT platform Rakuten Viki for an exclusive live event!

Previously on July 23, Kim Myung Soo, who takes on the role of Shin Yoon Bok in “Dare to Love Me” who believes deeply in Confucian values as a 21st-century scholar, joined an exciting live broadcast hosted by Viki.

Kim Myung Soo expressed his excitement about joining the Viki live interview for the first time and interacting with fans from all over the globe. During the live event, Kim Myung Soo participated in a segment called “Viki Stone Stack” where he answered fan-submitted questions by picking and stacking numbered stones, each corresponding to a specific question.

Kim Myung Soo discussed his experiences acting in traditional Korean attire (hanbok) for historical dramas, noting the differences and challenges compared to modern roles. The actor also shared insights into his career, preparation for roles, and memorable moments along with diverse characters he has portrayed in various dramas.

In the segment that followed, Kim Myung Soo showcased mukbang by trying out various American cereals. When asked which was his favorite cereal, Kim Myung Soo replied, “I will choose Froot Loops for now. Its scent is something that I smelled a lot when I was young.” He added, “I’ll smell this [to boost] my energy when I’m in the mood for something sweet.”

Kim Myung Soo also played a game called “Viki Mystery Box” where he had to guess the item inside the box just by touching it. His realistic reaction as he carefully touched each item drew laughter from staff and viewers.
