Jeon Do Yeon, Kim Go Eun, Park Hae Soo, And Jin Sun Kyu Confirmed For New Thriller Drama "The Price Of Confession"

Netflix has confirmed the production of the mystery thriller series “The Price of Confession,” featuring a strong cast that includes Jeon Do Yeon, Kim Go Eun, Park Hae Soo, and Jin Sun Kyu!

The series centers on Ahn Yoon Soo, who is accused of murdering her husband, and Mo Eun, a mysterious woman. The story explores the unfolding drama between these two secretive characters.

Lee Jung Hyo, known for “Crash Landing on You” and “Doona!,” will direct the series. The script will be written by Kwon Jong Kwan, who directed and wrote “Proof of Innocence” and “Sad Movie.”

The impressive cast is expected to heighten the excitement for this thriller, especially the dynamic chemistry between Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Go Eun.

Jeon Do Yeon will play Ahn Yoon Soo, a woman fighting to prove her innocence after being wrongly accused of her husband’s murder. Her once-simple life is shattered by his mysterious death. Jeon Do Yeon, who won Cannes Best Actress for her role in “Secret Sunshine” and also known for productions including “Kill Boksoon” and “Crash Course in Romance,” is expected to deliver a captivating performance.

Kim Go Eun will portray Mo Eun, a mysterious figure known as “the witch” among prison inmates for her skill in reading and understanding people. Mo Eun secretly approaches Yoon Soo, adding intrigue to the story with her motives and the potential impact of their meeting. Kim Go Eun, acclaimed for her role in “Exhuma” and popular dramas such as “Little Women,” “Yumi’s Cells,” and “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” is expected to bring a compelling portrayal of her role.

Park Hae Soo and Jin Sun Kyu will add depth to the series by intensely pursuing the truth behind the two women. Park Hae Soo will play Baek Dong Hun, a prosecutor known for his calm and resolute nature. Highly skilled and respected, Baek Dong Hun is dedicated to uncovering the secrets of Yoon Soo and Mo Eun, even at great personal risk. Park Hae Soo, acclaimed for his roles in Netflix series “Squid Game” and “Narco-Saints,” is expected to offer a compelling new take on his role.

Jin Sun Kyu will play Jang Jung Gu, Yoon Soo’s lawyer. A former boxer, Jang Jung Gu is known for his determination and thoroughness. He will work tirelessly to prove Yoon Soo’s innocence. Jin Sun Kyu, recognized for his performances in films like “Extreme Job” and dramas such as “Revenant” and “Bargain,” is expected to bring a fresh and dynamic edge to his role.
