Lee Sang Yi Transforms Into A Third-Generation Chaebol CEO Embracing Single Life In Upcoming Drama 'No Gain No Love'

tvN’s upcoming drama “No Gain No Love” has offered a sneak peek of Lee Sang Yi’s character!

Penned by writer Kim Hye Young of “Her Private Life,” “No Gain No Love” is a rom-com drama that tells the story of Son Hae Young (Shin Min Ah), a woman who fakes her marriage because she doesn’t want to take any loss and Kim Ji Wook (Kim Young Dae), a man who becomes her fake husband because he doesn’t want to cause any harm.

Lee Sang Yi stars as Bok Gyu Hyun, a CEO and third-generation chaebol who doesn’t believe in fated novel-like love and prefers to stay single. Gyu Hyun is the president of Honeybee Education where Hae Young works. Unlike his father, who is notorious for being linked to many women, Gyu Hyun maintains a clean private life. After successfully avoiding any owner risk, he stumbles upon a web novel by Nam Ja Yeon (Han Ji Hyun). While hiding his identity, he becomes an active commenter on her novel, leading to a fate-like connection between them.

The stills show Bok Gyu Hyun exuding the aura of a third-generation chaebol CEO in sophisticated suits. His subtle smile and his mysterious gaze, which hides his true feelings, heighten curiosity about the character of Gyu Hyun.

Lee Sang Yi is set to portray a young and modern businessman who will showcase delightful chemistry with his employee Hae Young and his secretary Yeo Ha Jun (Lee Yoo Jin). His endless charm, which is sometimes serious and sometimes playful, is highly anticipated. Audiences are eager to see how Lee Sang Yi’s nuanced emotional expression will bring the young and rich CEO Gyu Hyun to life and are looking forward to the energy he will bring to the series.

“No Gain No Love” is set to premiere on August 26 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
