BLACKPINK's Jisoo And Park Jung Min Are Separated Lovers Who Set Out To Find Each Other In New Zombie Drama "Newtopia"

Coupang Play has confirmed the main leads for the upcoming zombie drama “Newtopia”!

“Newtopia” tells the story of Jae Yoon, who is serving in the military, and his girlfriend Young Joo, as they run toward each other across the zombie-infested city of Seoul.

Park Jung Min, who showcased excellent acting skills in various films such as “Deliver Us from Evil,” “Smugglers,” and “Start-Up,” plays Lee Jae Yoon, who is serving in the military and feeling insecure about the future.

Jisoo, who made her impressive acting debut through “Snowdrop,” plays Lee Jae Yoon’s girlfriend Kang Young Joo, who just got her first job after graduating from an engineering school.

The newly released still captures Jae Yoon gasping for breath and looking shocked as he encounters the zombie outbreak while serving in the military. His subordinate In Ho (Im Sung Jae) looks even more horrified, previewing the imminent danger.

Another image below previews Young Joo who loses herself in a seemingly tranquil alleyway, further amplifying viewers’ curiosity about the drama.
