The members of Girls’ Generation got together to celebrate the 17th anniversary of their debut!

On August 5, Girls’ Generation rang in their 17th anniversary by revealing that they had recently reunited in honor of the occasion.

Posting numerous photos from their hangout on Instagram, YoonA wrote, “Girls’ Generation 17th Debut Anniversary,” while Tiffany simply wrote, “seventeen.”

As Sunny was unable to attend, her bandmates hilariously edited her into their group photo, with Seohyun writing, “Please be understanding of the inept editing, hehe. Soonkyu [Sunny’s given name] unnie is always with us in our hearts.”

Sooyoung wrote, “Happy Birthday, Fani & Girls’ Generation & SONE [Girls’ Generation’s fan club],” before amusingly revealing, “Seohyun has decided to use informal speech with me starting today.” She went on to affectionately add, “Soonkyu, I miss you.”

Hyoyeon wrote, “Thank you to SONE for always being together with us,” while Yuri wrote, “17th anniversary self-celebration. Happy Anniversary, Girls’ Generation and SONE.”
