Lee Kyu Hyung and Ji Jin Hee may be starring in a new sitcom together!
On August 5, News1 reported that Lee Kyu Hyung will be starring in KBS’s new sitcom “Lolololol” (figurative translation).
In response to the report, Lee Kyu Hyung’s agency ACE FACTORY shared that the actor received a casting offer and “is currently reviewing the offer positively.”
“Lolololol” is a situational comedy that captures various stories that unfold as a washed-up actor and a once-successful variety show producer establish and run a new content production company. The sitcom will be helmed by producing director Koo Sung Joon known for KBS2’s variety programs “Hello Counselor” and “Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education” as well as the KBS2 drama “Brain Works.” The sitcom will also be co-produced by DK E&M and Ikkle Studio.
Previously in May, STARNEWS reported that KBS is launching its first sitcom since “The Sound of Your Heart,” which ended in January of 2017, starring Ji Jin Hee as the lead. In response to the report, a representative of KBS shared that they are “discussing internally.” Ji Jin Hee’s agency Ikkle Entertainment has yet to release any official statement regarding his appearance.
