Jo Jung Suk’s New Film "Pilot" Surpasses 2 Million Moviegoers In Just 7 Days
“Pilot” has surpassed 2 million moviegoers!
“Pilot” tells the story of Han Jung Woo (Jo Jung Suk), a star pilot who becomes unemployed overnight but succeeds in getting a new job after a shocking transformation. The film, which also stars Lee Joo Myung, Han Sun Hwa, Shin Seung Ho, and more, marks Jo Jung Suk’s return to the big screen for the first time in five years.
On August 7, the Korean Film Council announced that “Pilot” officially reached a total of 2,047,205 moviegoers. The film previously surpassed 1 million viewers in four days, and it reached 2 million moviegoers in just seven days. “Pilot” is the fastest Korean film released in the summer of 2024 to reach this milestone.
Following the film’s success, the cast members and director expressed gratitude to the audience with a celebratory video.
