Kim Jong Kook's Pilot Program "Stingy" Confirmed To Return As Regular Program
Pilot program “Stingy” will be returning as a regular program on MBC!
On August 12, MBC announced that “Stingy,” which broadcast for two episodes as a pilot variety program in May, is confirmed to air as a regular program starting in September.
“Stingy” is a variety show where Kim Jong Kook, known for his extremely frugal habits, invades the homes of people who live extravagantly to “teach them a lesson.”
In the pilot episodes, Kim Jong Kook was joined by comedienne Jang Do Yeon as a co-host. The “Thrifty Team” panel featured actor Lee Joon, actor Min Jin Woong, comedian Im Woo Il, and TV personality Sayuri.
The production team expressed their excitement, stating, “We are thrilled and deeply grateful to see the show become a regular series, all thanks to the viewers’ support and interest. We are working hard to deliver a fun and enjoyable show for everyone, so please look forward to it.”
“Stingy” is set to premiere on September 25.
