Jang Nara And Nam Ji Hyun Take On A New Case As "Good Partner" Returns From 3-Week Hiatus

SBS’s “Good Partner” is back!

Written by an actual divorce attorney, “Good Partner” is a drama that depicts the humorous struggles of two very different divorce lawyers: Cha Eun Kyung (Jang Nara), a star lawyer for whom divorce is her calling, and Han Yu Ri (Nam Ji Hyun), a rookie lawyer who is still new to divorce.

After a three-week hiatus due to coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympics, the popular drama will return with its sixth episode tonight.

On the previous episode of “Good Partner,” Cha Eun Kyung and Han Yu Ri fiercely fought back against Kim Ji Sang (Ji Seung Hyun) and Choi Sa Ra (Han Jae Yi)’s ruthless attacks on Cha Eun Kyung’s character. In a bold counterattack, the duo accused Cha Eun Kyung’s cheating husband of de facto bigamy, seemingly turning the tables in the couple’s vicious custody battle.

In the drama’s upcoming episode, Cha Eun Kyung and Han Yu Ri will take on a new case amidst the chaos of Cha Eun Kyung’s own divorce. Newly released stills from the episode show a new client meeting with the two lawyers at their firm, where they discuss the client’s battle for custody rights.

Cha Eun Kyung, who is in the midst of waging her own custody war, advises the new client with a confident expression, while Han Yu Ri looks at both Cha Eun Kyung and their new client with visible concern in her eyes.

Another photo captures the client bursting into tears as she embraces her two children, revealing just how much the custody battle means to her.

The “Good Partner” production team commented, “Please keep an eye on the two lawyers’ different perspectives as they prepare for this new case, which shows an example of a custody battle that is somewhat different from Cha Eun Kyung and Kim Ji Sang’s.”

The next episode of “Good Partner” will air on August 16 at 10 p.m. KST.
