Nam Ji Hyun's Father's Mistress Asks Jang Nara To Fire Her In "Good Partner"

A new character is about to shake things up on SBS’s “Good Partner”!

Written by an actual divorce attorney, “Good Partner” is a drama that depicts the humorous struggles of two very different divorce lawyers: Cha Eun Kyung (Jang Nara), a star lawyer for whom divorce is her calling, and Han Yu Ri (Nam Ji Hyun), a rookie lawyer who is still new to divorce.

On the previous episode of “Good Partner,” Cha Eun Kyung and Kim Ji Sang (Ji Seung Hyun) went head-to-head in their battle for custody rights. Meanwhile, a different custody case led Han Yu Ri to reflect on what it meant to have the right to be a parent.

However, even more drama is in store for the already swamped Cha Eun Kyung and Han Yu Ri. In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, the duo faces an unexpected visit from Kim Hee Ra (Lee Jin Hee), the woman with whom Han Yu Ri’s father cheated on her mother—and the person responsible for giving Han Yu Ri and her mother immeasurable pain and wounds that have yet to heal.

After showing up at their law firm to meet with Cha Eun Kyung, Kim Hee Ra makes a bold request: “Fire Han Yu Ri immediately.”

In the next set of photos, Cha Eun Kyung meets with Han Yu Ri’s mother Kim Kyung Sook (Seo Jeong Yeon), who hands the lawyer mystery documents inside an envelope.

The expression of urgency on Kim Kyung Sook’s face raises the question of how Kim Hee Ra’s reappearance will affect—and possibly endanger—Han Yu Ri’s family.

The “Good Partner” production team teased, “There will be a decisive turning point in [Cha Eun Kyung and Han Yu Ri’s] relationship. Please keep an eye on how this truth, which unexpectedly came to light, will influence Cha Eun Kyung and Han Yu Ri.”

The next episode of “Good Partner” will air on August 17 at 10 p.m. KST.
