“Officer Black Belt” follows the story of Lee Jung Do (Kim Woo Bin), who has a total of nine dans (meaning ranks) in taekwondo, kendo, and judo, as he works as a martial arts officer together with probation officer Kim Seon Min (Kim Sung Kyun) to prevent crimes by keeping a close, around-the-clock watch on individuals wearing electronic anklets.
The newly released stills capture the depth of their characters as they work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the safety of citizens.
In one set of stills, Lee Jung Do is shown immersing himself in various martial arts, his expression radiating pure enjoyment. His vibrant energy and love for sports are palpable, reflecting his thrill-seeking nature.
On the other hand, Kim Seon Min is a dedicated probation officer committed to creating a safer society. Despite being warm and kind-hearted, he becomes deeply serious and focused when it comes to his job. Recognizing Lee Jung Do’s potential, he invites him to join as a martial arts officer, tasked with monitoring individuals on probation who are required to wear electronic anklets.

Other stills hint at their seamless teamwork, whether they’re chasing down targets or sharing a meal and a laugh together. Their relentless pursuit, even in dark alleys and with the aid of drones, highlights their commitment to safeguarding ordinary lives by any means necessary.
Lastly, a still showcasing Lee Jung Do’s serious demeanor while investigating cases and apprehending criminals sparks curiosity about his character’s journey—from a thrill-seeker who lives for excitement to someone who finds deeper meaning and fulfillment in protecting others’ happiness.
