JTBC’s weekend drama “Romance in the House” has shared its latest making-of video!

“Romance in the House” is a new drama starring Ji Jin Hee as Byun Moo Jin, a man who vanished into thin air after his wife Geum Ae Yeon (Kim Ji Soo) divorced him 11 years ago. After being presumed dead by Geum Ae Yeon and Byun Mi Rae (Son Naeun) for over a decade, he suddenly re-enters their life as their wealthy landlord.

The newly released video starts with a scene in which Kim Ji Soo’s character energetically invites customers to try free samples of tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) at a grocery store. When she is confronted by a disgruntled neighbor who accuses her of being involved in an arson case, Ji Jin Hee’s character steps in to defend her.

In contrast to this manly gesture by his character, Ji Jin Hee is seen casually enjoying some tteokbokki after filming the scene. Kim Ji Soo then humorously comments that she has trouble getting into the mood for their romantic scenes due to his childlike eating habits. In response, Ji Jin Hee jokes that he is making her stomach flutter instead of her heart.

In a later scene, Son Naeun’s character is shown visiting Nam Tae Pyung (SHINee’s Minho)’s taekwondo club. While rehearsing, Son Naeun impressively breaks a pine board with a punch but struggles with a thicker board, where her punch only results in a loud thud. Despite these initial challenges, her practice pays off during the actual take, where she successfully smashes the board and causes Minho to flinch. Minho jokingly says, “Her punch is stronger than I expected. I just hope she doesn’t punch me.”
