SHINee's Taemin Tops iTunes Charts All Over The World With “ETERNAL”

SHINee’s Taemin is making a splash on iTunes charts across the globe with his new solo album!

On August 19 at 6 p.m. KST, Taemin released his fifth mini album “ETERNAL.” Shortly after its release, the mini album soared to the top of iTunes charts in various countries around the world.

“ETERNAL” immediately reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 38 regions, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and more.

Moreover, until 1 a.m. KST on July 20, Taemin’s double title tracks “Sexy In The Air” and “Horizon” held the top two spots on the Bugs real-time music chart, with all seven tracks from the album securing positions within the top 10.

Notably, “ETERNAL” is particularly significant as it marks Taemin’s first album in which he participated in the entire production process, from the planning stages to the concept photos and music video.

Taemin is scheduled to perform “Sexy In The Air” on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on August 22 and “Horizon” on KBS2’s “Music Bank” on August 23.

Starting with his 2024 solo world tour “Ephemeral Gaze” on August 31 at Incheon Inspire Arena, Taemin will also embark on a global journey to connect with fans around the world.
