"Crash" Confirms Production Of Season 2
It is official that “Crash” will return with Season 2!
On August 21, production company ASTORY confirmed the production of Season 2 of its hit drama “Crash.”
First aired on May 13, “Crash” is the first Korean drama to tackle traffic crime investigations, starring Lee Min Ki, Kwak Sun Young, Heo Sung Tae, and more. It tells the story of the Traffic Crime Investigation (TCI) team as they relentlessly pursue villains on the road.
The first season of “Crash” showed a steady increase in ratings, with its final episode achieving an average nationwide viewership rating of 6.6 percent, which is the second-highest viewership rating in ENA’s history.
Writer Oh Soo Jin stated, “Season 2 will show not only the chemistry between the TCI team members but will also unveil the diverse stories of the characters at Namgang Police Station. We will be dealing with a wider variety of traffic crime cases, so please look forward to it.”
Director Park Jun Woo also remarked, “Thanks to the support of our viewers, we will do our best to make ‘Crash 2’ a long-running Korean style investigative series with more diverse episodes and upgraded car action scenes.”
