So Ju Yeon, Kim Kang Min, And Yeon Je Hyung Confirmed For New Romantic Comedy Short-Form Drama

So Ju Yeon, Kim Kang Min, and Yeon Je Hyung will be starring in a new drama together!

On August 21, it was officially announced that So Ju Yeon, Kim Kang Min, and Yeon Je Hyung have been cast as the leads in “Sorry for Confessing” (literal translation).

Directed by Hwang Da Seul of “Where Your Eyes Linger” and written by Do Moon Hee, “Sorry for Confessing” is a short-form romantic comedy drama about a woman who finds herself entangled with four men after a single confession, leading to a chaotic solo adventure.

So Ju Yeon will star as Kim Se Ra, a webtoon producer who feels more at ease finding love in 2D than in real life. After making an impulsive confession to her crush, she unexpectedly finds herself attracting three other men, turning into an accidental femme fatale. So Ju Yeon, recognized for her solid performances in dramas like “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon,” “Dr. Romantic 3,” and “A Love So Beautiful,” is expected to charm viewers with her unique appeal.

Kim Kang Min will play Lee Soon Kyu, a webtoon artist who is the target of Se Ra’s confession. With a gentle appearance and good manners, Lee Soon Kyu is a tough man who sticks to his boundaries and doesn’t let others cross them. This reserved demeanor only adds to his mysterious charm. Kim Kang Min, a rising star recognized for his diverse roles in dramas like “To My Star,” “School 2021,” and “Hospital Playlist 2,” is expected to make hearts flutter through this role.

Yeon Je Hyung will play Se Ra’s longtime friend Park Hyun Woo, a job seeker who appears carefree but hides real emotional pain. After getting caught up in Se Ra’s impulsive confession, Hyun Woo begins to realize his own feelings and starts to change. Yeon Je Hyung, known for his consistent performances across dramas like “Between Him and Her,” “Call It Love,” and “Do You Like Brahms?,” is expected to intrigue viewers with his role in this new project.
