Netflix’s upcoming action-comedy film “Officer Black Belt” has offered an exciting glimpse into Kim Woo Bin’s character transformation!
“Officer Black Belt” follows the story of Lee Jung Do (Kim Woo Bin), who has a total of nine dans (meaning ranks) in taekwondo, kendo, and judo, as he works as a martial arts officer together with probation officer Kim Seon Min (Kim Sung Kyun) to prevent crimes by keeping a close, around-the-clock watch on individuals wearing electronic anklets.
The newly released stills highlight Lee Jung Do’s gradual transformation as he begins working as a martial arts officer, whose task is to monitor individuals on probation who are required to wear electronic anklets. In his first mission, Lee Jung Do’s curious eyes as he eagerly scans the alley where a monitored individual resides reflect his enthusiasm.
However, as he delves deeper into his duties, Lee Jung Do, who once prioritized having fun above all else, starts to realize the profound significance and fulfillment that comes with protecting others’ happiness. His newly dyed black hair becomes a visual symbol of his renewed sense of duty.
Additional stills highlight the growing camaraderie between Lee Jung Do and Kim Seon Min. In one shot, the two are seen clasping hands for mutual encouragement, while other stills showcase their unwavering dedication as they tirelessly monitor and pursue targets, underscoring their shared commitment to protecting the public.
