“Love Next Door” is a romantic comedy by the director and writer of the hit drama “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.” Jung So Min stars as Bae Seok Ryu, a woman who tries to reboot her troubled life after it goes awry. Jung Hae In plays her mom’s friend’s son Choi Seung Hyo, whom she considers a dark and embarrassing chapter in her life.
Spoilers
On the previous episode of “Love Next Door,” Bae Seok Ryu moved in next door to Choi Seung Hyo and began her mission of finding happiness by starting over.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, the two childhood friends head to their old high school, where they set out to dig up a time capsule from their school days. Although Choi Seung Hyo rolls up his sleeves and industriously starts digging, Bae Seok Ryu seems displeased with him as she shoots him an annoyed look while crouched on the ground.
Later, the former classmates head to the school swimming pool. One photo shows Choi Seung Hyo in the water, holding up the rusty time capsule, while another photo captures Bae Seok Ryu looking down at him with an unreadable expression.
The “Love Next Door” production team teased, “[Episode 3] will depict the school days of the Hyereung High School three musketeers. Please look forward to finding out what was written in the letters sent by the youthful boy and girl of that time who had many dreams.”
The production team went on to add, “After being reminded of a past that they had buried together with the time capsule, they will undergo an unexpected change.”
To find out how the time capsule will change their relationship, catch the next episode of “Love Next Door” on August 24 at 9:20 p.m. KST!
