Son Suk Ku In Talks To Lead New Sci-Fi Comedy Film Based On Popular Webtoon
Son Suk Ku may be taking on the lead role in an upcoming film adaptation of a popular webtoon!
On August 27, it was reported that Son Suk Ku is set to star in the upcoming film adaptation of Cho Seok’s hit Naver webtoon “Moon You.”
In response to the report, a representative from Son Suk Ku’s agency stated, “Son Suk Ku has received an offer to star in the film adaptation of ‘Moon You’ and is currently reviewing it positively.”
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Moon You” is a sci-fi human comedy that follows the struggles of an astronaut stranded on the moon after an asteroid collision wipes out humanity on Earth. Unbeknownst to him, humankind is watching his comical daily life from Earth.
If confirmed, Son Suk Ku will play the protagonist, an astronaut stranded on the moon trying to find his way back home.
The film will be directed by Kang Hyeong Cheol, known for his acclaimed and commercially successful films such as “Scandal Makers,” “Sunny,” “Tazza: The Hidden Card,” and “Swing Kids.”
