Shin Hae Sun Saves Kang Hoon From An Attack Over Alleged Misinformation In His Report In Upcoming Drama

ENA’s upcoming romance drama “Dear Hyeri” offers a fresh look at the dynamic between Shin Hae Sun and Kang Hoon!

“Dear Hyeri” is a healing romance drama that revolves around Joo Eun Ho (Shin Hae Sun), an announcer who develops dissociative identity disorder following the disappearance of her younger sibling and her breakup with her longtime boyfriend Hyun Oh (Lee Jin Uk).

Shin Hae Sun is generating excitement for her dual roles as Joo Eun Ho, a veteran announcer with little presence, and Joo Hye Ri, a parking lot attendant. Kang Hoon stars as Kang Joo Yeon, a news announcer. When Joo Hye Ri disrupts his routine life, the lifelong bachelor unexpectedly falls in love for the first time.

In newly released stills, Joo Hye Ri grabs Kang Joo Yeon’s wrist and runs, drawing viewers’ attention. As Kang Joo Yeon enters the broadcast station’s first-floor lobby, he is shocked to encounter a woman wielding a pickaxe, ready to attack him. The sharp pickaxe seems poised to strike at any moment, intensifying the scene’s tension. The woman, dressed in a white hanbok, has angrily scrawled, “Kang Joo Yeon must apologize for the misinformation,” on her clothing, raising questions about the reason behind the attack.

Meanwhile, Hye Ri adds an unexpected twist to a tense moment. Seeing Joo Yeon in danger, she drops the box she’s holding, grabs his wrist, and makes a quick escape. With her hair flying wildly, Hye Ri sprints away, showcasing both her strength and affection. This moment fuels curiosity about how the romance between Hye Ri and Joo Yeon will evolve as she rescues him from the pickaxe attack.

“Dear Hyeri” is set to premiere on September 23 at 10 p.m. KST.
