Jung So Min And Jung Hae In Are All Smiles In Poster For “Love Next Door”

tvN has dropped a new poster for “Love Next Door”!

“Love Next Door” is a romantic comedy by the director and writer of the hit drama “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.” Jung So Min stars as Bae Seok Ryu, a woman who tries to reboot her troubled life after it goes awry. Jung Hae In plays her mom’s friend’s son Choi Seung Hyo, whom she considers a dark and embarrassing chapter in her life.

In the last broadcast of “Love Next Door,” Bae Seok Ryu discovered that Choi Seung Hyo has had feelings for her for a long time. She found the letter in his room that had been hidden in a time capsule. As she read the letter, which expressed unspoken emotions, she appeared flustered. However, Choi Seung Hyo brushed it off as a trivial joke. After that day, Choi Seung Hyo began to distance himself from Bae Seok Ryu. Uncomfortable with the awkwardness and not knowing the reason for it, Bae Seok Ryu sought him out again. When he confessed, “Back then and even now, you drive me crazy,” she sensed that his feelings for her were more than just friendship.

The newly released poster hints at a shift in the relationship between Choi Seung Hyo and Bae Seok Ryu. The poster shows Bae Seok Ryu leaning on Choi Seung Hyo’s back and gently holding his wrist, creating a sweet, heart-fluttering atmosphere like a new couple in the early stages of dating.

Additionally, the caption quoting Bae Seok Ryu’s line, “The only thing I didn’t know was your ‘first love,'” draws attention. It raises viewers’ anticipation about Bae Seok Ryu’s next move now that she knows about Choi Seung Hyo’s feelings and whether they can go from being best friends to becoming lovers.

The production team shared, “The romance between Choi Seung Hyo and Bae Seok Ryu, who are wavering between love and friendship, will officially begin. Watch how Choi Seung Hyo’s long-standing unrequited love comes to an end and how their relationship evolves beyond friendship.”

Meanwhile, in the upcoming 7th episode, a new twist will appear in the relationship between Choi Seung Hyo and Bae Seok Ryu. Bae Seok Ryu’s ex-fiancé Song Hyun Joon (Han Jun Woo) will visit the Hyeryeong neighborhood after coming back from abroad. Additionally, Choi Seung Hyo’s ex-girlfriend Jang Tae Hee (Seo Ji Hye) still has lingering feelings, further complicating their relationships. It remains to be seen if Choi Seung Hyo will finally confess his true feelings and resolve the situation.

The next episode of “Love Next Door” airs on September 7 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
