Actress Han So Hee’s agency has addressed the recent controversy involving her mother.

On September 2, reports emerged that Han So Hee’s mother, Ms. Shin, was arrested for allegedly running illegal gambling houses at multiple locations from 2021 until the end of last month, using a front man.

In response, Han So Hee’s agency 9ato Entertainment released an official statement on September 3, clarifying that Ms. Shin’s actions are entirely unrelated to Han So Hee, who only learned of the situation through the news and is deeply distressed.

We would like to share our position on the reports regarding the mother of our actress Han So Hee.

The report from yesterday (September 2) concerns Han So Hee’s mother’s personal and independent actions. Han So Hee was devastated upon learning about it through the news.

We want to reiterate that this incident is entirely her mother’s independent actions and has nothing to do with the actress.
