Kim Woo Bin has given a sneak peek into his role in the upcoming Netflix action-comedy film “Officer Black Belt” in a new teaser video!
“Officer Black Belt” follows the story of Lee Jung Do (Kim Woo Bin), who has a total of nine dans (meaning ranks) in taekwondo, kendo, and judo, as he works as a martial arts officer together with probation officer Kim Seon Min (Kim Sung Kyun) to prevent crimes by keeping a close, around-the-clock watch on individuals wearing electronic anklets.
In the newly released teaser, Kim Woo Bin provides a glimpse into his character Lee Jung Do, who unexpectedly steps in to help a martial arts officer being attacked by a felon. This heroic act leads him to temporarily take on the role of a martial arts officer.
Kim Woo Bin elaborates that he was initially unfamiliar with the role, which involves working under the Ministry of Justice and monitoring ex-cons to protect citizens’ safety.
