Watch: Yoo Young Jae, Son Sang Yeon, And Kim Min Ki Take Heartfelt Care Of Jang Gyuri In Teaser For Upcoming Drama
“Our Beautiful Summer” (literal translation), the third installment of “O’PENing 2024,” has unveiled a teaser for its first episode!
“O’PENing 2024” is a drama project showcasing works by new writers from CJ ENM’s O’PEN initiative. The third drama in the series, “Our Beautiful Summer,” is a coming-of-age story about a 19-year-old girl who wants to die and a 19-year-old boy who wants to save her, focusing on a brief yet beautiful summer in their lives.
Jang Gyuri stars as Choi Yeo Reum, a 19-year-old high school student who moves in next door to triplets Ah Reum (B.A.P’s Yoo Young Jae), Da Woon (Son Sang Yeon), and Woo Ri (Kim Min Ki).
The newly released teaser opens with Ah Reum cheerfully greeting his new neighbor Yeo Reum, who responds with indifference and passes him by. In one scene, Ah Reum says to Yeo Reum, “I’m only trying to help you. Why are you rejecting it?” Yeo Reum replies coldly, “Did I ever ask for your help?”
Later, it is revealed that Yeo Reum has been moved to a new school due to a forced transfer. The following scenes depict her eating lunch alone at school, looking distressed at home late at night, and shedding tears on the rooftop. In response, Ah Reum, Da Woon, and Woo Ri start to follow her everywhere she goes, in an apparent effort to support and potentially save her.
It remains to be seen what secrets Yeo Reum is hiding and whether she will eventually open up to the trio and find healing.

The first episode of “Our Beautiful Summer” will air on September 14 at 11 p.m. KST, with the second episode airing on September 15 at 11:10 p.m. KST.
