Gong Myung, Shin Eun Soo, And More Confirmed For New Romance Film "Love Untangled"

Netflix has confirmed the production of the new film “Love Untangled” along with its casting lineup!

On September 13, Netflix announced that Gong Myung, Shin Eun Soo, Cha Woo Min, Youn Sang Hyun, and Kang Mina are confirmed to star in the new film “Love Untangled” which will depict the love and friendship of nineteen-year-old students.

Set in Busan in 1998, “Love Untangled” tells the story revolving around a 19-year-old girl named Park Se Ri who, while planning a strategy to straighten her lifelong insecurity of having curly hair before making a love confession, gets entangled with a transfer student named Han Yoon Seok.

Gong Myung, who solidified his unique presence across various genres by appearing in films such as “Citizen of a Kind,” “Killing Romance,” and “Hansan: Rising Dragon,” will play the role of Han Yoon Seok, a transfer student from Seoul. Yoon Seok, who is a year older than his peers and has given up on the college entrance exam, transfers to a school in Busan. He watches over 19-year-old Park Se Ri, who is determined to achieve her unrequited love, with a seemingly indifferent attitude, creating unexpected heart-fluttering moments.

Shin Eun Soo will take on the role of Park Se Ri, who has never succeeded in confessing her feelings due to her stubbornly curly hair. Known for her delicate acting skills showcased in various projects such as in the film “Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned” and the drama “Twinkling Watermelon,” Shin Eun Soo is expected to captivate the hearts of viewers by portraying a lovable high school student who falls head over heels for the most popular boy in school and approaches transfer student Han Yoon Seok, who is her only solution.

Cha Woo Min, who impressed through the dramas “Night Has Come” and “Weak Hero Class 1,” will portray Se Ri’s crush and the most popular boy in school Kim Hyun.

Youn Sang Hyun, who starred in the dramas “Doctor Slump” and “Under the Queen’s Umbrella,” will take on the role of Baek Seong Rae, Seri’s classmate and partner in her grand confession project.

Last but not least, Kang Mina, who showcased stable acting skills in the dramas “Welcome to Samdalri” and “Café Minamdang,” will join as Go In Jung, Seri’s rival and the friend who reveals the secret to straight hair, adding more excitement to the story.
